Job Summary

DEFINITION
Under general supervision, to have responsibility for operation of the District warehouse; to
receive, store and deliver school equipment, mail supplies and materials; to maintain central stock control and to do warehouse related work as required. Drive District vehicles to transport students to and from home as required.

CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
The person in this class will be maintaining the warehouse in a satisfactory manner and
maintaining all necessary records related to the warehouse and supplies used throughout the district. This person will be driving locally to secure items from vendors and will deliver all materials and supplies to each school site. This employee will transport students to and from home occasionally or on an as-needed basis.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Receives and inspects incoming equipment and supplies for conformity to purchase order and reports shortages, damages and other discrepancies; prepares items for return to vendors; stores items in proper location according to schools and office; loads supplies and equipment and delivers to proper location; checks and verifies state textbook shipment; picks up, sorts, and delivers mail, audio visual aids and instructional supplies; maintain inventory control of all warehoused items; maintains district locks and keys and drives District vehicles to transport students to and from home.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Certification (Forklift Certification)
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Driver's License Copy
  • Proof of HS Graduation

Comments and Other Information

Daily Work Hours: 12:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. (5.5 Hours; ½ Hr. lunch)
(Hours will vary during ELOP STEAM ACADEMIES - Saturday School, Winter Academy, and Summer School)
Work Days: 220 days
Work Site: District
Site Supervisor: Project Resource Director or Designee
