Lead Medical Staff Operations & GovernanceAt Valley Presbyterian Hospital, strong physician alignment and medical staff governance are critical to delivering high-quality care. We're seeking an experienced Director, Medical Staff Services to lead and manage all aspects of medical staff operations, credentialing, and compliance while serving as a key liaison between hospital leadership and the Organized Medical Staff.What You'll DoDirect all Medical Staff Services operations, including credentialing, privileging, and reappointment processesOversee Medical Staff committees, including scheduling, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actionsServe as the primary liaison between Hospital Administration and Medical StaffEnsure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, DHS, HIPAA)Develop and maintain medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and privileging criteriaLead and manage the medical staff proctoring programMaintain the annual Medical Staff meeting calendar and coordinate activitiesOversee departmental operations including supplies, work orders, and staff recordsWhat You BringStrong knowledge of medical staff services, credentialing, and regulatory standardsExperience working with Joint Commission, DHS, and HIPAA requirementsKnowledge of medical terminology and physician relationsStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and physician database systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentRequirementsBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferredCPMSM certification required within 12 months of hireAbility to type 65 WPMWhy VPHMission-driven healthcare organizationHigh-visibility leadership role working closely with physicians and executivesOpportunity to shape medical staff operations and governanceCollaborative and professional environmentApply today to lead and strengthen Medical Staff Services at VPH.
