The Operations Technician I must be mechanically and technically competent. Operations Technicians I are primarily responsible for operating packaging equipment. Operations Technicians I will perform and document safety, quality, regulatory, maintenance, and sanitation activities as part of their role. Operations Technicians I can and will be called upon to support other plant activities and perform other plant duties. Essential Functions Operate accumulators, case packers, palletizers, and stretch wrappers in accordance with all regulatory requirements, customer requirements, plant SOPs, and in a manner that meets plant performance objectives. Support filler operators in their essential functions as part of on-going training and development. Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, walls, floors, doors, ceilings, etc. as part of a Master Sanitation Program.
