Accountabilities:

  • Lead and supervise a crew while performing hands-on mechanical work alongside the crew
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
  • Enforce Total-Western safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific requirements
  • Conduct daily tailgate meetings and participate in Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work packages
  • Coordinate daily activities with the Project Superintendent and other trades
  • Monitor productivity and communicate jobsite needs or challenges
  • Support accurate timekeeping and daily field reporting
  • Maintain a professional, respectful, and productive jobsite culture

Preferred Requirements:

  • 57 years of industrial mechanical experience
  • Prior experience as a lead or foreman
  • Experience working in a union environment (USW preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Demonstrated behaviors consistent with Total-Western core values

Work Environment:

This position is primarily field-based, working on industrial construction sites. Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions, high noise levels, and physical demands such as standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods. Some travel to different job sites may be required depending on project locations.

Compensation Range: $28.00 - $32.00 hourly rate
