Location: Bakersfield, CA
Salary: $47,800 – $58,200 annually

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a growing organization in the Bakersfield area. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting functions, and ensuring timely and organized processing of financial transactions. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records

  • Process invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Assist with general ledger maintenance and journal entries

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Prepare financial reports and assist with audit support as needed

  • Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with internal procedures

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience preferred

  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities
