Sr Project Manager (TA/HR) - Long Term Contract - Hybrid (Bay Area)

In this role, you will work closely with the TA Workforce Strategy team to manage a portfolio of projects that deliver data & planning solutions that require transformation of tools & processes. These projects involve collaboration with TA, People Analytics, People Operations, Business Technology, and the HR Portfolio Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be the go-to person for key stakeholders. You will advise your colleagues and guide them through the process.
  • You'll advise on project milestones (key responsibility), build, and execute plans, schedule meetings, gain stakeholder alignment, develop meeting content, and lead workstream meetings.
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally across leadership levels to help teams understand and align on project requirements.
  • You will provide the PMO team with timely, accurate metrics and charts to support scorecard status reports and ad hoc management requests.
  • You will also facilitate the change management & enablement efforts for the projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, planning, or related field is required.
  • 8+ years of portfolio, program, or project management experience is required.
  • Transformation project leadership experience for efforts that high scope technology, process, and reporting changes, preferably in HR or an operational function.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall/Agile/Scrum).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Strong familiarity with Asana and Smartsheet is required; high-level skill is preferred.
  • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft and Google tools (Excel, PPT, Google slides/sheets/docs).
  • Highly organized with an efficient work style that includes the ability to adjust to accommodate priority shifts as needed.
  • Skilled at presenting to leaders and communicating / training on new concepts and processes.
  • Skilled at effectively leading cross-functional meetings.
  • Proven resiliency, ability to influence, to accept feedback, and to encourage collaborative solutions.

Work Setting: Hybrid
