Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC/Plumbing/Fire Protection Design)
Direct Hire - Hybrid

Oxford Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Level 4) to join our client's consulting engineering team. This role involves leading the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fireprotection systems for commercial, municipal, and industrial facilities. The position offers a hybrid schedule with local site visits and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various facilities
• Develop complete design deliverables from approved proposals
• Review and approve work of junior engineering staff, providing quality control and PE sign-off
• Coordinate with other disciplines to gather project requirements
• Manage multiple design and construction project schedules simultaneously
• Participate in QC reviews and provide high-level guidance and feedback

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience in consulting design
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, municipal, or industrial projects
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering and construction drawings and specifications
• AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software experience preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively with peers and clients
