Job Summary: As the Infection Control Manager, you will lead the Infection Control Program, ensuring that we have the necessary structure and resources to implement an effective infection control strategy. Your role will involve:

• Ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards related to infection control practices.
• Conducting continuous surveillance of infectious diseases present in the hospital.
• Taking appropriate measures to prevent and control the acquisition and transmission of infectious agents in line with CDC guidelines and our hospital policies.
• Providing orientation to new staff on infection control principles.
• Offering ongoing education and resources to patient care units.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in a healthcare-related field is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recent acute care infection prevention experience.
• Certification: Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) is required; candidates must be eligible for certification and obtain it within 18 months of employment.
