About the Role
Journeys is one of Hightouch's fastest growing product areas, focused on building the orchestration layer that powers modern marketing automation. Journeys enables customers to design and execute personalized, multi-step workflows that react to real time events, customer data, and AI-generated content, all directly from the warehouse.
We're looking to add a product minded backend engineer to the team. The ideal candidate is deeply curious about how systems interact over time, and has experience building and debugging distributed architectures that prioritize reliability, observability, and fault tolerance. You'll think holistically about how to represent user defined workflows as scalable, durable systems that handle millions of messages, retries, and customer automations every day.
