Job Title: Senior Counsel - Insurance Coverage and Litigation (Remote)
Location: Remote
Billables: 1,900 hours per year target
Base Salary: 160,000 to 220,000 DOE + Bonuses from meeting your billables
Bar Requirement: Must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar

What You Will Do
• Draft, refine, and review complex coverage opinions
• Lead litigation strategy, including motions, depositions, and hearings
• Manage client communication and oversee case progress
• Handle bad faith and coverage litigation from start to finish
• Mentor junior attorneys and support team development
• Participate in mediations, settlement analysis, and risk evaluations
• Review and interpret complex commercial and specialty insurance policies
What You Need
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar license
• 12+ years of insurance coverage or defense litigation experience
• Strong coverage analysis background
• Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent writing, client management, and strategic planning skills
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience preferred
