- Job Title: Senior Test Automation Lead
- Location: Pleasanton, CA (Remote role)
- Long-term position
- Role involves ensuring successful delivery for complex programs, projects, or initiatives in the workers compensation insurance business applications and digital transformation
- Accountable for overall Automation practice for the applications
- Responsible for all Technical Automation deliverables for UI Automation, API Automation, Web/Mobile automation and other key automation testing
- Will set high standards of delivery and track automation metrics within the software development lifecycle
- Involves automating Policy, Billing and Claims area projects
- Requires good technical understanding of (web) applications and SDLC processes
- Will help drive strategy, priority, and planning across a variety of teams, cultures, and time zones
- Tasks include leading the design of the Test Automation framework, developing short-term and long-term test automation strategies, conducting research on automation frameworks and methodologies, and collaborating with Test Architects and Test Leads
- Must have a Master's or Bachelor's Degree with 14+ years of Quality Engineering test automation experience
- Requires 10+ years of hands-on programming/scripting experience in Java
- Expert knowledge with design and development of automation frameworks
- Must have in-depth understanding of emerging technologies and their commercial applications
- Experienced in building, turning around, and operating large Dev + QA programs
- Expert knowledge with cloud computing and technologies (AWS Stack highly desirable)
- Must have script less automation implementation experience
- Experience transforming QA/QE organizations to SDET/DevSecOps is required.
- Will also support the smoke/sanity testing requirements of DevOps Release Engineering team after build deployments.
- Must have a successful track record as a 'hands on' leader within QA teams.
- Experience in designing and developing AI Strategy using BOTS - OPS Insight, Code Insight, Test Insight and IOT is necessary.
- Experience in preparing and implementing Digital Transformation Strategy, IT Business Value Strategy for major Clients is necessary.
