Come build the future of pharmacy with us./ppThe Principal Actuary is responsible for supporting the development of actuarial concepts and providing thought leadership for Primes existing and potential owners and clients. This position will collaborate with the Senior Principal Actuary to provide strategic consulting support, manage the development of innovative actuarial modeling concepts, and provide pricing support for all lines of business. This position will also lead complex projects that are highly visible to executives and across the organization./ppResponsibilities:/pulliCollaborate as a subject matter expert (SME) with underwriters, other areas of Prime, and senior management on pricing initiatives, data analyses, and the Request For Proposal (RFP) process/liliLead, manage, and review data analyses, reporting, and projections/liliLead, manage, and review ad hoc complex pharmacy data mining and analyses to help investigate and answer challenging questions regarding actuarial data and concepts/liliProvide strategic pricing advice on structures and methodology using market research, financial projections, and complex actuarial modeling/liliPresent results and analyses to key stakeholders, senior management, and clients; answer detailed and challenging questions regarding actuarial data/liliLead and mentor Actuarial team members to enhance actuarial knowledge/liliMonitor the Health Policy environment considering the implication of organization pricing policies, law, and political changes that may impact client programs/liliEnsure all work is consistent with federal regulations and actuarial standards, as applicable/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliBachelors degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance/lili7 years of actuarial work experience to include 6 years in a healthcare organization or PBM/liliActuarial designation (ASA or FSA)/liliMust be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship/li/ulpAdditional Qualifications:/pulliAdvanced level of proficiency in Excel; intermediate level of proficiency in SAS, SQL, or VBA/liliExcellent quantitative, problem solving, and analytical skills/liliStrong project management and organizational skills/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills/liliStrong client consulting presence/liliExcellent presentation and facilitation skills/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulli8 years of actuarial work experience in a healthcare organization or PBM/liliPrevious experience pricing Commercial, Medicare or Medicaid lines of businesses/lili5 years of experience in SAS, SQL, or VBA/liliPrevious experience in model building and underwriting or risk adjusted rate setting, or model development/liliPrevious experience in identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients complex pharmacy benefit challenges/li/ulpEvery employee must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures.
