Pay: $16.90-$18.00/hr Depending on Location and Certification

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional , you will support individuals with developmental disabilities in living meaningful, independent, and safe lives. You will promote personal growth, protect well-being, and serve as a trusted advocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily routines as outlined in each client's IPP/ISP
• Assist residents with personal goals, social engagement, and community activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment
• Assist with personal care (grooming, hygiene, dressing, bathroom needs)
• Prepare meals and assist with clean-up
• Transport clients to/from activities, homes, or appointments as needed
• Report incidents and communicate daily with supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of professional or personal caregiving experience
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid California Driver's License
• Ability to pass all pre-employment checks (background, physical, etc.)

Preferred (or willing to obtain)

• DSP Year 1 & Year 2
• CPI (within 6 months)
• CPR/First Aid (within 30 days)
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
