Job Description
A well-known and reputable Agronomy company in the area is looking to add an Experienced Sales Agronomist to join their team. A competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered to the right individual.
Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:
- Make seed, fertilizer and chemical recommendations to growers.
- Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities.
- Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long-term repeat business.
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
- Forecast supply requirements on a monthly and annual basis.
- Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently.
- Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology, including seed, precision farming technology, finance and marketing tools.
Sales Agronomist Key Qualifications: - 3+ years of agronomy related experience preferred
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy/Agriculture or related field
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
- PCA licensed and CCA Certified
- Must have a valid driver's license and currently reside in the region.
