We're seeking an Account Manager in Bakersfield, CA to grow HVAC service revenue and build lasting client partnerships across commercial and industrial markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify revenue opportunities

• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate HVAC system conditions and recommend service solutions

• Collaborate with service and operations teams to coordinate maintenance and repair activities

• Develop and present proposals for preventive maintenance contracts and capital projects

• Negotiate contract terms and pricing to achieve mutual value for clients and company

• Track sales activities and pipeline development using CRM software to meet targets

• Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain strong relationships

• Stay current on HVAC industry trends, energy regulations, and emerging technologies

• Attend networking events and industry functions to generate referrals and build brand presence

Requirements

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC account management, technical sales, or related roles

• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize activities effectively

• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and service requirements

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice-to-Haves

• Background in HVAC service operations or field technician experience

• Experience with energy efficiency projects or retrocommissioning

• CRM software proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

• Associate or bachelor's degree in business or technical field
