Qualifications / Skills for Maintenance Technician:

  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literate (outlook/property management software)
  • Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:
  • Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
  • Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
  • Report violations of lease and house rules
  • Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant's maintenance needs are being met
  • Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties
  • Maintaining excellent curb appeal
  • Follow policies and procedures
  • Grounds

Requirements

Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician II:
  • Minimum of 4+ years of current and proven experience in multi-family apartment maintenance
  • Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, minor fixes such as patching a wall, fixing a doorknob, appliance repair, unit turnovers, and work orders
  • Basic familiarity with use of computers and technology. Navigate at a basic level within web-based applications
  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Able to work as a team and independently
  • Ability to follow directions, handle constructive criticism and able to communicate well
  • Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Salary Description

23.00 per hour plus benefits
