Job Description
A well-known people first and progressive Agronomy company in the area is looking for an Experienced Sales Agronomist to join their team. They offer a competitive base salary, full benefits, and a company vehicle.
Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:
- Make fertilizer, chemical and seed recommendations to growers
- Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities
- Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long-term repeat business
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions
- Forecast supply requirements
- Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
- Provide best in class service while adhering to the company's high level of professionalism
Sales Agronomist Qualifications:
- 5+ years of agronomy related experience preferred
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy/Agriculture or related fields
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have a current CCA
- Candidates with established grower and farmer relationships in the region will be prioritized
- Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver's license
