We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service team member to join our team in Bakersfield, California. This position is within the waste management industry, offering an opportunity to showcase your multitasking abilities and interact with the public in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service while assisting the public with inquiries and transactions.
- Accurately handle money, including processing payments and balancing cash drawers.
- Utilize computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage daily office tasks.
- Perform weigh master duties, ensuring precision and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain a detail-oriented approach while multitasking and handling various responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in both English and Spanish.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Uphold business casual attire standards, including jeans and closed-toe shoes.
- Work efficiently in a Monday through Friday schedule, with potential Saturday shifts as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or a similar role.
- Ability to pass credit and background checks.
- Proficiency in money handling and payment processing.
- Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exceptional multitasking skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Comfortable engaging with the public and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Willingness to adhere to business casual dress code guidelines.
