The posted compensation range of $24.00 - $31.52/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Under the direction of the Program Manager, Community Health Worker's are responsible for conducting outreach and education activities for identified populations. Community Health Worker's are responsible for identifying possible outreach and education locations and effective strategies to reach target population. Community Health Worker's will lead education sessions to both groups and individuals. Community Health Worker's working under this program will need to adhere to established procedures for outreach, education, advocacy and client referral. The focus area for Community Health Worker's will vary according to program goals. Community Health Worker's must become knowledgeable of focus area content, approved messaging and required procedures to advocate for clients. Community Health Worker's will need to adhere to established procedures for outreach, educations, advocacy, and client referral.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of one-year experience in community outreach, education advocacy work
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
