Responsible for providing plant oversight for cost and engineering activities that facilitates the efficient progress of plant operations and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies. This position is based at the Solari facility located in Arvin, CA. This role supports material facilities in Bakersfield and the Eastern Sierras. Some travel is expected. Essential Job Accountabilities. Safety Ensure operations are compliant with MSHA, OSHA, and Granite policies. Organize and deliver weekly safety meetings. Coordinate quarterly plant audits. Ensure findings are corrected. Work with plant foremen on maintaining daily Take-5, Job Site Inspections. Ensure employees have proper PPE. Ensure employees have the correct tools for the job. Partner with Safety Manager and Plant Superintendent to evaluate current safety culture. Environmental Management. Ensure operations are compliant with all environmental and Granite policies.
