The Fountain Group is currently seeking a­­­­­­­­ Warehouse Operator for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­ Bakersfield, CA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

Pay: $25.26/hour

Shift: M-F, 8a-4:30p

Duration: 6-months – potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget.

Overview:

• Customer Support oriented - there is a lot of interaction with other departments
• Work under some supervision following established procedures and guidelines.
• Receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.

• Receive incoming goods

• Check for damage.
• Identify discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Sort and label goods.
• Store goods efficiently.
• Arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods based on written or verbal requests/orders.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

1+ year of warehouse experience required.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Computer skills are needed (MS Office, ERP, data entry, etc).
