The Opportunity:Avantor is looking for a Quality Control (QC) Technician Testing to join our Avantor | Nu. Sil team. This is an onsite role at our Bakersfield, CA facility, supporting the third shift team, Monday Friday, 10 pm 6 am. What were looking for. Education: BA/ BS in chemistry or science-related field preferred; equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Quality including cGMP, ISO and regulatory Audits. Will be required to pass pulmonary function test in order to wear a respirator. Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office experience highly preferred Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with lab equipment operation and set-up. Experience working with chemicals and chemical reactions helpful. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
