As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for a Director of Quality to build and lead our quality function. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and executing quality processes across our supply base, production lines, and final product inspections. You'll be instrumental in setting the bar for product reliability and consistency, helping us deliver world-class humanoid robots at scale.

Define and implement incoming inspection, in-line quality checks, and final test standards

Develop processes for non-conformance handling, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

Establish quality metrics (e.g. FPY, DPPM, escapes) and reporting systems across production sites

Build out our internal quality systems and ensure readiness for future certifications and audits

Partner with Supply Chain to qualify suppliers and manage supplier quality performance

Work closely with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve quality issues on the line and continuously improve process capability

Develop training programs for production teams on quality standards and defect detection

Act as the quality voice in NPI builds and ramp readiness reviews

Maintain a strong feedback loop between field/service issues and internal quality systems

Requirements

10+ years of experience in quality roles in high-complexity hardware or manufacturing environments

Proven track record in building and scaling quality systems in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

Familiarity with MES, ERP, and digital quality tracking systems

Strong communicator and cross-functional partner

Bonus Qualifications

Background in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics

Experience with early-stage company scaling from pilot to volume production

Location Policy
We believe the best work is done when collaborating and therefore require in-person presence in our office locations.
