Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Superintendent located in Bakersfield, CA. The Project Superintendent will oversee daily operations at construction sites, ensure quality control, enforce safety regulations, and manage subcontractors. Responsibilities include supervising all on-site activities, maintaining project schedules, coordinating with project managers and clients, and ensuring compliance with budget and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills and experience in managing on-site construction teams
• Expertise in commercial construction and understanding of industry best practices
• Proficient in quality control and ensuring compliance with construction standards
• Knowledge and experience in construction safety protocols and regulations
• Ability to manage project budgets and resources effectively
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Relevant certifications in project management or construction safety are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products as well as Procore is preferred
• Willing to travel nationwide depending on project location (per diem offered for non-local employees)
