We're looking for someone to join our team as a Temporary IT Data Entry Clerk who:

The IT Data Entry Clerk supports efficient document management by digitizing, organizing, and maintaining records. This role involves operating scanning equipment, ensuring the accurate entry and indexing of data into digital systems, and maintaining compliance with document retention policies. The clerk provides excellent customer service by responding to document-related inquiries, resolving filing issues, and assisting with retrieval requests. Additionally, they collaborate with various business teams to enhance document accessibility, with a focus on accuracy, security, and efficiency.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and respect.
  • Operate scanning equipment to digitize paper documents, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Organize, name, and index scanned files into the document management system according to established protocols.
  • Maintain and update digital filing systems to ensure all records are current and easily accessible.
  • Conduct quality control checks on scanned and uploaded documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with troubleshooting technical issues related to document scanning and storage systems.
  • Follow data entry and document retention policies to maintain confidentiality and security.
  • Monitor inventory levels of document management supplies (e.g., file folders, scanner ink) and coordinate replenishment.
  • Assist in developing and improving document management workflows and protocols.
  • Provide assistance with interdepartmental document-sharing needs.
  • Performs other duties as may be required. See attachment for full job description.
You'll be successful with the following qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework in IT or records management is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in data entry and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems).
  • Familiarity with scanning equipment and file organization best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service oriented with teamwork experience.
