Home > Job > Application Analyst III D-SNP SystemsWe have an opportunity to join the Alliance as a Application Analyst III D-SNP Systems in the Application Services Department.WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Reporting to the EDI Manager, this position:Leads and performs complex systems configuration, research, and analysis to support and maintain state policy and procedure for D-SNP systems, including eligibility, enrollment, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) integration, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirementsConducting analysis of Alliance business procedures, performance of low- to high-level complexity systems configuration, conducting related research, and staff trainingAnalyzing and optimizing data workflows to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant data exchanges between internal applications, external vendors, state, and federal agencies, with a focus on operational and regulatory complianceABOUT THE TEAMThe applications we build, purchase, integrate and customize are what allows the Alliance staff, members, and providers to connect with each other effectively and efficiently in order to optimize health care delivery. We also focus on health care technology innovation in line with the ever-changing health care landscapeTHE IDEAL CANDIDATEExperience with Alliance core and ancillary systemsExperience working with methodologies such as Application Lifecycle Management and various project management methodologies and best practicesThorough knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare Programs, the methods of product configuration in a Medicaid/Medicare environment, and the medical terminology, related procedures, and national diagnostic codingWorking knowledge of health care regulatory policies, principles of health care planning and administration, health care data analytics, State and Federal Legislative processes, Medicare DSNP and Medi-CalSome knowledge of Agile/Scrum development environmentsWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFULTo read the full position description, and list of requirementsclick here .Knowledge of:the principles and practices of technical/technology implementation processes, including the integration of systems and the application of information managementresearch, analysis, reporting methods, performance metrics and statisticsMedicaid/Medicare Program, the methods of product configuration in a Medicaid/Medicare environment, and medical terminology, related procedures, and national diagnostic codingAbility to: analyze and write process maps, work instructions, and documentationtranslate business requirements into detailed product requirementsdemonstrate flexibility and creativity and to effectively adapt to changeEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care, Information Technology, Information Science, or a related field and a minimum of five years (or a Master's degree and three years) of D-SNP product configuration experience which included some experience related to staff training and a minimum of three years of experience in a managed health care environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifyingOTHER INFORMATIONWe are in a hybrid work environment and we anticipate that the interview process will take place remotely via Microsoft Teams.While some staff may work full telecommuting schedules, attendance at quarterly company-wide events or department meetings will be expected.In-office or in-community presence may be required for some positions and is dependent on business need.
