Job Description

They are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead and scale our wholesale business. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with key accounts, and overseeing the development and execution of merchandising strategies.

Wholesale Expansion & Management

  1. Lead and drive the wholesale strategy across national retailers (such as Ulta Beauty), specialty boutiques, and amenity partners (including spas, hotels, and fitness centers).
  2. Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for new retail partnerships to ensure strong brand positioning and growth.
  3. Establish and nurture relationships with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers to maximize sell-through and brand exposure.
  4. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing structures to ensure profitability while maintaining strong relationships with retailers.

Retail & Amenity Program Execution

  1. Build out and expand the brand's amenity partnerships, driving penetration in the hospitality, wellness, and fitness sectors.
  2. Identify and secure hotel, spa, and gym partnerships, ensuring our brand is positioned as a leader in premium body care offerings.
  3. Develop tailored sales and marketing programs to support guest amenity placement and conversion to retail sales.
  4. Work cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and operations to create compelling offers and strategies for both retail and amenity channels.
  5. Set and achieve wholesale revenue targets, tracking performance across retail and amenity channels.
  6. Monitor sell-through, replenishment cycles, and promotional effectiveness, optimizing based on data-driven insights.
  7. Partner with internal teams to forecast inventory needs, ensuring seamless fulfillment and minimizing stock issues.
  8. Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to drive continued innovation in sales and distribution strategies.

Requirements

  1. 7+ years of experience in wholesale sales within the beauty / body care industry.
  2. Proven experience working with Ulta Beauty and deep understanding of their launch process, category management, and promotional planning.
  3. Strong background in amenities sales, including partnerships with spas, hotels, gyms, and wellness centers.
  4. Established buyer relationships in both retail and hospitality industries.
  5. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  7. Ability to travel as needed for retailer meetings, trade shows, and client visits.
