Minimum Salary $575 per week Job Summary/Basic Function
Under the direction of the Culinary Arts Manager, a Summer Camp Baker will prepare culturally appropriate baked goods for the campers. If you love baking or want to learn a new skill while making friends from all over the world, join us this summer.
You will:
* Produce all baked goods for the Villages in a timely manner as directed by the Chef Baker
* Maintain all baking equipment and areas in a clean and sanitary condition
* Carry out food preparation tasks as requested by the Chef Baker or Kitchen Leadership
* Assist the Kitchen Leadership with sourcing and utilizing recipes for culturally appropriate ethnic baked goods
* Assist with general kitchen cleanup as directed by the Kitchen Leadership

Minimum Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Experience in a bakery, baking in an institutional kitchen or equivalent experience
* Interest in preparing ethnic foods
* Willingness to work evening or night shifts
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with quantity cooking at a camp, resort, or public or private institution
* Oral proficiency in a target language
* Previous Concordia Language Villages or camping experience
