As a kitchen helper, you will:
* Support kitchen staff in the preparation, production and service of culturally inspired meals
* Work with a diverse team under the direction of culinary staff
* Present delicious, safe, fresh food that is cooked to the specifications for the meal
Job Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of food through multiple methods, using industrial equipment (we will train)
* Assist in maintaining safety & sanitation standards in food handling and preparation
* Wash dishes and maintain clean work areas, equipment, utensils and surfaces
* Provide excellent services to guests
Minimum Qualifications
* Familiarity with food service and food safety methods is desirable but not necessary
* Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented
* Flexibility in scheduling (primarily on weekends, including holidays) concurrent with program needs
* Pass a background check in accordance with local labor laws
* At least 18 years old
* Ability to read recipes in English
